The cactus meme made me laugh. These are all so beautiful.
Something about one of those memes about knowledge. When I was in high school we were able to take classes on how to live off the land. There was a space near the Home Ec building that was set up for planting herbs and veggies. We also learned how to collect water from tarps and make different kinds of shelters with trees and what to eat and not eat in case we were lost in the wilderness. It was a basic wilderness class. There were other classes like a class for how to keep a budget, bookkeeping, open a bank account, and do your income taxes, and how to start a business. It was a business class. The last time I checked, these classes are no longer available in my old high school. It's sad. The schools in this country need these classes so these kids today know more about their world and not just by way of the internet. You have to live it to learn it.

I love feeling the grass beneath my feet when I'm barefooted, that makes me happy, too!

I don't feel too bad now that slugs ate my pumpkin plants.
These are such happy photos and make me happy. I want that wall of flowers! I have been to Noccalula Falls, right near me in Alabama.
