The Festival

We spent the morning at a Fall festival yesterday and it was wonderful.

We stopped by our favorite booth that sells felted Fall and Halloween decorations.

Participants were dressed in French and Indian War apparel.

Each booth looks like an old log cabin.

There were many treats for sale.  We brought two of these dipped apples home for my husband.

There was  mix of Halloween and Christmas crafts for sale.

Decorated gourds.

Buggy rides.

Weaving.

More felting.

Creepy but cute.
My Daughter bought this cute little felted cottage.

And a felted chimney sweep covered in soot.  As you can see she has already decorated for Halloween.  We stopped at a farm market on the way home and bought two large pumpkins for the front of the house.  It was a fun, almost Fall, weekend.

The quality and creativity of the Halloween decorations is impressive. It is all plastic and paper in local stores. This Festival looks outstanding.

No Fall festivals here yet. But soon I expect. I absolutely adore that little felted cottage and the pumpkin next to it. So darn cute! Glad you both had fun.
