Merry Solstice

Winnie was so happy yesterday to wake up to a little bit of snow.  Her dada and Willie are on the hill in the background.


What I need Xmas to look like instead of the 55 degree sunny day that we will be seeing.

We got a skiff of snow yesterday too but it will be gone in a couple of days as the temoerature gets above zero. No white Xmas for us this year.

I haven't seen a white Christmas in decades. I'm good. I'm getting my stuff together to make peanut brittle later. I have to find a way to move frozen meat and veggies in the freezer so I have a place for the brittle to cool. I may have to ask neighbors if they will take a few things until I'm done.

Just think, the days will gradually get longer. The snow looks so pretty. It is hard to resist being where there is snow at Christmas.
