Are Your Beans Ready Yet? How About Your Dill?

If they are, here is a great recipe for you. Measure out 3/4 of a cup of mayonnaise and 3/4 of a cup of sour cream. The amount depends on how many potatoes and beans you are using.

Add a cup of buttermilk.

Add some sliced red onion and some sliced green onions.

Add a good amount of cracked black pepper and sea salt.

Now add as much chopped fresh dill as you like.

I used new potatoes and boiled them in salted water until they were fork tender then cut them into small uniform pieces.

I parboiled the green beans in salted water and cut them into 2 inch pieces.

Stir all to combine thoroughly.

This is a wonderfully fresh salad for this awfully hot summer.

I can imagine that salad would be great with something from the BBQ.

It was so cold and wet here so I never sowed any beans this year and I have never been successful with dill. I love dill especially together with crayfish :-)

Have a great day now!

My beans are covered in blossoms and just a few small ones. Next week I'll have more beans than I know what to do with. Hopefully, I'll find time to try this recipe!

As usual, this looks delicious. My husband planted a slew of beans so this may be a way to use them.
