Before we get started I would like to announce the winner of last week's giveaway for the 'Enchanted' book: Laura from Laura's Homestead Adventures Please send me your info and I will ship it right out to you! This week's giveaway is for a bag of goodies I purchased from the West Point Market as shown above.
There is a small tea collection which includes local honey from Ohio, a honey pot, a tea sampler and the cutest little tea ball!
And how sweet are these? A cute toothpick holder and a small pair of scissors with a magnet on the back so you can hang them on your refrigerator.
Also included is a half pound box of West Point Market's special chocolates, a bag of their chocolate covered pretzels and two sleeves of Buckeyes. Ohio is the Buckeye State and if you have never sampled the confection by the same name, I guarantee you will become a fan. To enter the giveaway, just leave a comment on this post. If you are not already a follower, just sign on to follow. The winner will be announced next Saturday and a new giveaway will be posted at that time. Good Luck!
Back to shopping at the market. This is a long post with a lot to see so grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable and come shop with me. I thought these were the cutest cards. the sheep are made out of real wool.
This helpful person is packing up the Blog Tech's selections for the dinner party he had the evening we returned.
And my most favorite British import.....Marmite. I love this slathered on my homemade rosemary bread. If you've never tried it you should!
We were so early that the first baked goods were just coming out of the ovens. These are their specialty breads.
All of their meat is freshly cut. None of it is packed and thrown in a cooler the way most markets handle theirs.
They even carry Virginia Ham and it has a recipe for red eyed gravy on the package. This is my all time favorite breakfast food when it is served with grits.
If you are in a rush after work you can grab some of their freshly prepared and wonderfully packaged meals to take home with you.
And for all you chocoholics out there, I have included a box of these marvelous candies in the giveaway.

I don´t think we have anything like that market over here. I would probably walk around there all day and ruin my economy :-) :-)
I have only heard of Marmite, what is it and what does it taste like?
I like all the china You show here, especially the Irish pottery.
Pie birds is new for me, why are they called that?
That bread looks so fine. Well I started my fire heated stove today for the first time this season so baking season is soon here too :-)
Killer brownie, does that mean heart attack after eating to many :-) :-) :-)
I could comment on every single photo today but I think I´ll just say I love that market :-)

I'm just wondering how you choose the winner for these wonderful giveaways you have or do you just close your eyes and pick one? :))
We don't have anything like that anywhere near here. One of the few disadvantages of living in a rural county, I suppose. But having a deer show up in your neighbor's yard makes up for it in a way.
Thank you for this chance to enter the draw for all the goodies.
I would just love to be entered too! ^-^
It takes approximately three days for food to travel through the large and small intestine, at which point, inevitably, it must exit.
I hope the Blog Tech found some worthwhile (aka: heavy-duty) bathroom air freshener at this fancy market you both visited :)
