West Point Market Part II and a New Giveaway

This week's giveaway is for a bag of goodies I purchased from the West Point Market as shown above.

It includes all sorts of treats that caught my eye while shopping.

There is a small tea collection which includes local honey from Ohio, a honey pot, a tea sampler and the cutest little tea ball!

A bag of butterscotch pecan cookies.

And how sweet are these? A cute toothpick holder and a small pair of scissors with a magnet on the back so you can hang them on your refrigerator.

I just love this towel. Skullions....too funny!

Also included is a half pound box of West Point Market's special chocolates, a bag of their chocolate covered pretzels and two sleeves of Buckeyes. Back to shopping at the market. This is a long post with a lot to see so grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable and come shop with me. I thought these were the cutest cards. the sheep are made out of real wool.

The West Point Market has a huge selection of British goods.

Here is the display of the cookies that are in the giveaway bag.

There are kiosks throughout the store with all sorts of neat gadgets.

Each day freshly made soups are offered right in front of the cafe.

This is the one I bought and what can I say....YUM!!!

They offer so many varieties of each item they carry. This is the balsamic vinegar section.

This makes me want to walk down the aisles.

Even their shopping baskets are cute. I hate those lame plastics ones you see everywhere.

This helpful person is packing up the Blog Tech's selections for the dinner party he had the evening we returned.

I am such a sucker for savory pies and they offer beef and chicken.

And my most favorite British import.....Marmite. I love this slathered on my homemade rosemary bread. If you've never tried it you should!

Where do you ever see displays like this in your grocery store?

Funny that the fire extinguisher is hung right next to the hot sauce display.

I guess if you eat Rufus's blazin' hot sauce you might need it.

I have cabinets like these in my dining room!

I don't know how you can go through this store and walk out with just groceries.

This is the display of Halloween towels like the one I put in the gift bag.

There was a collection of this wonderful Irish pottery in an old pine cabinet.

We were so early that the first baked goods were just coming out of the ovens. These are their specialty breads.

The Blog Tech made sure to confirm that this sign was correct.

They have wall sconces in the seafood department. I was impressed

All of their meat is freshly cut. None of it is packed and thrown in a cooler the way most markets handle theirs.

They have a very nice cookbook section and I love the name "Lucid Foods" for a cookbook.

They even carry Virginia Ham and it has a recipe for red eyed gravy on the package. This is my all time favorite breakfast food when it is served with grits.

The middle shelf to the right carries the markets homemade compound butters.

They pride themselves on stocking their produce section with locally grown fruits and vegetables.

And they are displayed in cute baskets.

If you are in a rush after work you can grab some of their freshly prepared and wonderfully packaged meals to take home with you.

And for all you chocoholics out there, I have included a box of these marvelous candies in the giveaway.

They are made by a local Ohio company and the Blog Tech approved of them highly.
