SBLT"S Shrimp, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwiches

These were supposed to be lobster, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches but my store was out of lobster. So, I thought, why not shrimp?

I fried a bunch of bacon. I rarely make these so when I do, I want a lot of bacon on them.

I scampied some large shrimp quickly in a hot cast iron skillet.

I like to salt and drain my tomatoes so they don't make the sandwich soggy.

The bread from yesterday.

Mayo and bibb lettuce.

A whopper of a sandwich but oh so good!

i need to make the bread for these...and now i will have to wait till this heat breaks....

Yum, yum, oh yeah and YUM!
Well I just finished the bread and if there is any left by tomorrow I might make this wonderful sandwich. I could eat two of those right now. I also made gingerbread with warm lemon sauce. Cool weather makes me hungry.
I LOVE BLT's and now you have just dipped them in GOLD!! Lobster or no Lobster...YUM!
