The Blog Tech loves it when I make this. I made it a while back and I was stuck for a post today so I thought I would put it up. This is especially good when you have a cold.

Put 2 cups of sugar in a heavy pot.

Add 3 cups of water and 2 cups of sliced fresh ginger.

Bring it to a boil and then simmer it for about 40 minutes.

Drain the ginger syrup.

This will have a very condensed flavor.

Pour some in a glass and add carbonated water. You can make it as strong as you like. It only takes about 1/4 cup of the syrup to make a good glass of
ginger ale.

Do you keep your extra syrup in the fridge?
Have a great day!
