Lamb Sliders Recipe

This is a good switch up from regular burgers.  To a pound of ground lamb, add 1 tsp. ground cumin, 1/2 tsp. oregano, 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic, 1/2 tsp. onion powder and salt & pepper.  Mix it well and let it sit for a while to let the flavor develop. Meanwhile, mix thinly sliced cucumber, onion, kalamata olives, sliced cherry tomatoes and some diced red pepper with 1/2 cup of crumbled feta cheese with 1/2 cup of plain yogurt. Stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.

Buy some slider buns.
Spread them with garlic butter and broil them just until they begin to toast around the edges.

Form small burgers with the ground lamb and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.  Cook them on a grill or a skillet. Place a burger on each bun and top with the cucumber salad.
And eat away.  These are soooo good!

I love lamb but it's hard to find here, Swedes aren't too fond of it I'm afraid. I can get lamb slaughtered the Halaal way but it's a nasty way to kill an animal so I prefer not to buy that.

Have a great day!

not much lamb to be found here, our family raised sheep and were the last farm in the area to have them, I'm not really fond of lamb but I'm sure these are wonderful!Garry said he would love them!

Difficult to go back to regular burgers when you discover lamb burgers. Makes me want to make some.

Hi Joyce...I have never been a fan of lamb...too gamey for me but I must say it looks good enough for me to try! I wish someone lived in my house that cooked like you. How lucky are all the people close to you....my gosh! You should be getting paid as a full time chef! Great food! Love the look of the pizza dough recipe...I'm heading there now...see ya!

My husband would love these! I think I'd add a heaping spoonful of my Turkish spicy red pepper paste to the mix as well. :-)

I've got the lamb burger and now I know what to do with it! Hope I can find slider buns or will have to use Syrian bread to hold it all together. Thanks for a great idea!
