This is a good switch up from regular burgers. To a pound of ground lamb, add 1 tsp. ground cumin, 1/2 tsp. oregano, 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic, 1/2 tsp. onion powder and salt & pepper. Mix it well and let it sit for a while to let the flavor develop. Meanwhile, mix thinly sliced cucumber, onion, kalamata olives, sliced cherry tomatoes and some diced red pepper with 1/2 cup of crumbled feta cheese with 1/2 cup of plain yogurt. Stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.

Spread them with garlic butter and broil them just until they begin to toast around the edges.

Form small burgers with the ground lamb and sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Cook them on a grill or a skillet. Place a burger on each bun and top with the cucumber salad. |
And eat away. These are soooo good!
