This is the Advent House you see in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
It's so much fun to open a window each morning.
Each window is numbered.
The pictures are all Victorian Christmas Vignettes. |
I've been wrapping presents and making baskets. |
Chicken and dumplings and homemade shortbreads for a sick friend. |
And the stockings I stitched 30 years ago are waiting for Santa to fill them.
Comments
Do they sell them after the movie?
Christmas stockings almost didn't exist here when I grew up but I've heard more and more families have them now days. Smart since we usually plan our Christmas after Donald Duck and his friends celebrate Christmas (we've seen that show here every Christmas eve for 55 years now :-) ), the kids won't have to wait for so long if they have those stockings.
Have a great day!
Christer.
We are getting our tree this week so I'll get to decorate. If we thaw out!
Bring you Good wishes of happiness.
