Meatball Sliders

I saw an article on AOL yesterday about the best meatballs in the country. I read through them trying to find out what it was that made each of them the best.  Then I set out to make my own.
I used 1 pound of ground beef for these.  Then added 5 minced garlic cloves, 1 small grated onion, 1/3 C. bread crumbs, 2 eggs, 1 T. Italian seasoning and S&P.

I also added about 3/4 C. of grated Parmesan cheese.  Oh, and some diced fresh parsley.

This recipe made 15 meatballs about the size of a golf ball.

I baked them at 350 degrees for about 23 minutes or until they read 165 on an instant read thermometer.

I served them on some homemade rolls brushed with garlic butter. I added some mozzarella and provolone cheese which I melted under the broiler.  One meatball on each slider was just the right size.  These are very tasty meatballs!

Those sound good, I saw meatballs in the store the other day and they were 65% fat but your home made ones have to be a lot better than that.

I'm usually very conservative when it comes to meatballs, I rarely try thgem any way than the usual but these do sound rather yummy :-) I must remember this next time I make some.

Have a great day!
