A Pancake Breakfast

The Blog Tech and his fiance have been terribly busy.  They have so much planning to do and between the move and the holidays, they have constantly been on the go.  Yesterday I thought I would make them a nice breakfast before they started another busy day.
I made buttermilk pancakes on the griddle.

I served it on this large raven platter.  I love these dishes and have a whole set of them made by a local potter.

I added locally raised and smoked bacon from our favorite smokehouse and locally made organic sage sausage.  I am thrilled to be able to have such wonderful food produced on farms within a 30 minute drive from home.  It seems each year more and more of these farms are selling what they grow and raise.

The breakfast looks fabulous... I have been fixing Keith a warm one daily now since it has gotten colder, I think it starts his day better.
Joyce, you are so fortunate to have farms that close to shop from. I cannot wait to try your meatballs..and now that salad. This weekend I'm going to do the meatballs and spaghetti. AND the salad. Amaze and astound my daughter in law...I hope. :)
What a nice thing to fix them breakfast. I hope your cooler weather is holding out. So far, our is. We need more rain though. Sounds as though though other parts of the country are getting our rain! And then some!!
I've had more requests for your Chili...and I'm not surprised! It was wonderful!
