Red Onion Salad Dressing

I make my kids salads almost every day so I am always trying to come up with new dressing recipes.  Here is one I made last week.  It's goes very well with fresh spring greens.

  • 1 whole Medium Red Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Freshly Ground Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Seed
  • 3 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • ⅓ cups Vinegar
  • ¾ cups Oil
  •
  •
  • Throw this all in your food processor and pulse it until you get your desired consistency.

I love a good salad dressing. Sadly my wife does not like salad or whatever we put on it, unless it's coleslaw (sometimes). So we very rarely eat salad.

Homemade dressings are always fabulous. Not a big onion person myself, but my hubby would LOVE this.

I have to admit that I prefer salad without dressing but a good dressing is always welcome.

Have a great day!
