Sorry, this is all I have for you today. COOKIES! We are having a cookie and candy buffet at the wedding and I am the baker. I have to bake approximately 1500 cookies in 2 weeks. And wouldn't you know it? My mixer died in the beginning of my first batch yesterday. It groaned, then sighed and died. I think I heard it say...."I can't do this". Traitor.
*to answer the comment below....it was a kitchenaid mixer, the big one! It lasted 4 years. This is the 9th kitchenaid motor I've burned out in 25 years. They only last a lifetime if you use them like a normal person.

Have a great day and don't forget to take a few breaks in all the work!
Christer.
are unbelievable...even the most stalwart mixer cannot survive your
enduring pace and output.....
OK I had to laugh about the mixer. We've been together 17 years now and I think 2nd Man is on his 4th mixer. I used to complain "how do you burn out something that's supposed to last a lifetime". But I just went with it. The first was a smaller one but the rest have been the bigger ones until his last. Now he's got the biggest KA makes, the 7 quart with the 1.3hp motor, they don't even sell it at most places, but wow it's held up like a workhorse. Fingers crossed.
Just imagining it makes me feel *faint*
