No Knead Pizza Recipe

I make a lot of pizza.  I am always trying new recipes.  I have found many that  I like but none as easy as this one.  This recipe has been all over the internet for a while but I just recently got around to trying it.  It is great!

Mix 7  1/2 cups of flour with 1/2 tsp. of rapid rise yeast, 4 tsp. salt and 3 cups of water.  Mix this thoroughly, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise on the counter overnight.
Break off pieces and use it as needed.  It will last for 4 or 5 days in the fridge.  I keep it in a ziplock bag.

Your puppy will adore the crust.

I make 2 at a time since they are so good when they are fresh out of the oven.  Just break off pieces of the dough, sprinkle it with a bit of flour and shape it however you wish.

I have always made pizza sauce and loaded lots of things on top of my pizza.  My new pizza is simpler and so much healthier.  I buy San Marzano crushed tomatoes.  This is all I use for the sauce.  I slice fresh mozzarella into thin slices and lay them on top.  I then sprinkle a bit of oregano or Italian seasonings and a bit of parmesan cheese.  This bakes on a pizza stone in a 450 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese begins to brown. As soon as they come out of the oven, I sprinkle them with fresh basil leaves. I let them sit on a cutting board for about 15 minutes before cutting.  These taste exactly like the pizzas you get in Italy.
