I just noticed no one commented on my toaster. This got me to thinking...what kind of toaster do you have? I eat toast every morning and it is my breakfast of choice. When I was little my grandfather, papa, made toast on an old toaster that was triangular. You had to open the doors manually and turn the toast yourself. I have one of these and will post pics of it. I like burnt toast. And I like slightly toasted toast. I like any kind of toast. I would love to see pics of everyone's toasters! And I would like to know how everyone takes their toast. My family likes toast with my homemade jams, especially rhubarb. I like mine with butter and cheese. I am much more of a salty person than a sugar one. Share your toast preferences.
Wow...no more Mexico for me until something changes. First all the Ecoli, then the drugs and kidnappings, now swine flu and an earthquake. What the heck is going on down there? It sounds like the Wild West. I have spent lots of time in Mexico and always enjoyed it but they need some governance. I bought some avocados this morning so I think I will make some guacamole and stay home!
Blogging sure is fun! It is interesting to be sitting here in 90 degree weather and reading about a storm about to start in Sweden. We have all become accustomed to the internet that we don't think about it much. But not long ago a lot of us had never touched a computer and here we are reading about a momentary storm in Sweden and looking at a fall picture of a garden in Australia. My parents have been dead for a long time but they would be so amazed if they could come back and see all of this. It is truly miraculous how it has changed things. So, though I am cutting back on my consumption of paper, planting a sustainable garden, using "dish rags" again and all of these other little changes, I AM NOT GIVING UP MY COMPUTER!!!!! HA!!!!
I am a mother of two humans and one wonderful puppy. I cook, bake, garden and sleep. The first three a lot more than the last one! And i dabble. I have many collections but none as special as my witches. I have been collecting for over 20 years and have amassed one of the largest authentic witch collections in existence.
