Buttery Dinner Rolls

This recipe produces light, fluffy and buttery dinner rolls and makes your kitchen smell wonderful.  The above rolls are actually frozen because I forgot to take a photo of them when they came out of the oven.  They still look good though don't they?
Mix 1 C. of milk, 1/4 C. of sugar, 1/2 C. of softened butter, 2 beaten eggs, 2-1/2 tsp. of rapid rise yeast, 1/2 tsp. of salt and 4 C. of flour until you have a smooth ball of dough.  Place it in a buttered bowl, cover it and let it rise until doubled.  Dump it out onto a floured surface.

Roll it out to about 1/2 inch thickness.

 Brush it with butter.

 Fold it in half.

Slice it into 1 inch strips.

 Tie them in a knot.

Place them on a parchment covered cookie sheet and brush them with butter again.

Let them double.  Bake them at 375 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until they are golden.

And just for good measure, I brush them with butter when I take them out of the oven.
