Pear Fritters

I saw these over at bev's blog ( ) the other day and knew my husband and The Blog Tech would love them. They are so easy to make too.
Mix 1-1/2 C. of self rising flour with 4 T. sugar.

Mix in 2 eggs and 1 C. of milk.

Slice a pear into 3 slices.  I made some with apples too.

I used about 1 cup of vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet.  Cook them until they turn golden.

Drain on paper towels and sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar.

Then sprinkle on some confectioners sugar too.

They ate them with maple syrup.
