Collards Cookoff

I got up at 4:00 am this morning and made cornbread.  Lots and lots of cornbread. If you want a good cornbread recipe for Thanksgiving, you can find it here:
Each one of these holds a double recipe.  And why did I bake all of this cornbread?

Because The Blog Tech and I entered a collard cookoff.  He made the collard's yesterday and I warmed them up this morning. He made 12 quarts of collards.

And we made 10 quarts of baked beans.  We don't expect to win.  We are up against stiff competition.  Though I do think we will give them a run for their money!  We just entered because it is fun!
